Psychoanalyst Robert Forster knows a thing or two about violence – his patients are serious criminals and psychopaths. It takes a lot to throw him off balance. Then the unthinkable happens: during one of his anti-aggression sessions, a bomb explodes and a patient dies. Shortly afterwards comes the next shock: six of Forster’s students are kidnapped. The perpetrator challenges Forster to a macabre game for the lives of these people. He threatens to brutally kill one of them every day if Forster does not play along. Forster realises that only he can save the students – and that the perpetrator must be someone who knows him.
