Lena Wendt

Over the course of twelve years, journalist Lena Wendt travelled to 25 African countries – and eventually found her new home in Morocco. In her book *Thank You, Africa!*, she recounts her initial naive encounters, moving experiences and everyday life, caught between fascination and culture shock. Known for her film and book *Reiss aus*, Wendt gave up her job and flat in Hamburg in 2014. Today she lives in Morocco, works as a photographer, yoga and dance teacher, and founded the label Dihiya Inspired.
